When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife Lindsay and our son Karl exploring our new home in Southern New Hampshire, and venturing into the other parts of New England. As a family, we enjoy bicycling, cooking, and visiting the many playgrounds in the area (mainly at Karl's insistence).

 

In addition to these activities, I also like brewing my own beer (dark lagers and ales, preferably), playing board games (especially Axis and Allies) and reading for enjoyment (anything from Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Richard Wolff, to Michael Parenti to J.R.R. Tolkien, George R.R. Martin, Jim Butcher and Stephen King).
